Vande Bharat Train Jabalpur-Raipur: Changed route, schedule & everything you need to know

Earlier, the new Vande Bharat was proposed to run from Jabalpur to Raipur but the railway administration decided to change this route.

High-speed Vande Bharat Express Train is turning out to be a game-changer for Indian Railways. Not only this is curbing traveling time between states but it is also acting as a perfect example of modernisation of Indian Railways under the Modi government. Now, Madhya Pradesh is all set to get another Vande Bharat Express Train. As per reports, Indian Railways has decided the route and schedule of the new Vande Bharat train. This new Vande Bharat Express will connect Madhya Pradesh to two states. This train will run from Jabalpur of the state and will go to Chand Fort station in Maharashtra. Earlier it was proposed to run it from Jabalpur to Raipur but the railway administration decided to change this route. Hence, as of now, there is no Jabalpur-Raipur Vande Bharat Train. 

Vande Bharat Jabalpur

The new Vande Bharat train will start as soon as it gets approval from the Railway Board. With this, Jabalpur will get two Vande Bharat Express. Chand Fort station of Maharashtra is about 476 km away from Jabalpur. The new Vande Bharat Express will cover this distance in 8.35 hours. Railways had earlier announced to run the Vande Bharat Express between Jabalpur and Gondia, whose route was decided via Raipur. Now the route has been changed. Vande Bharat Express will now run from Jabalpur to Chand Fort station via Gondia.

Vande Bharat Jabalpur-Chand Fort Route

Along with the new route, the West Central Railway Division has also prepared a new schedule for Jabalpur-Chand Fort Vande Bharat. According to the proposed schedule, the train will leave Jabalpur at 6.30 am and will reach Chand Fort station via Nainpur, Balaghat, Gondia. On return, this train will leave Chand Fort station at 3.45 pm and reach Jabalpur late at night. According to West Central Railway officials, the proposed timetable of the new Vande Bharat Express has been sent to the Railway Board. The train will be started after getting the green signal from the board.

According to the proposal, Jabalpur-Chand Fort Vande Bharat will leave Jabalpur at 6.30 am. This train will reach Madan Mahal at 6.40 am, Nainpur at 7.10 am, Balaghat at 8.28 am, Gondia at 9.30 am, Nagbhir at 11.53 am and Chand Fort station at 1.45 pm. The Vande Bharat Express will leave from Chand Fort station at 3.45 pm, reach Nagbhir station at 6.18 pm, Gondia station at 5.50 pm, Balaghat at 6.35 pm, Nainpur at 8.15 pm and Jabalpur station at 12.20 pm.
