Famous TV industry actress Asha Sharma has passed away. Veteran actress Asha Sharma took her last breath at the age of 88. The entire TV industry is mourning the loss of another famous TV personality. 

Information about Asha Sharma’s death was shared on the official handle of CINTAA (Cine and TV Artists Association) on X in an obituary post. CINTAA has expressed condolences to the Sharma family.

She had worked in more than 35 films, including Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai, Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha, and Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam, 1920, AdiPurush; and in television shows like Kumkum Bhagya, Meet Mila de Rabba, Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya, and Ek Aur Mahabharat.

Asha Sharma was mostly seen in the roles of grandmother and mother in a number of daily soaps and films. Asha Sharma was 88 years old, but even at this stage of age, she was continuously working. Asha Sharma was last seen on the big screen in the film "Adipurush," in which she played the character of Sabri, although the film flopped. The director of 'Adipurush' film Om Raut is also saddened by the death of Asha Sharma. He said, 'This is very unfortunate. What a wonderful actress and human being she was. It's very sad to hear this. It is worth noting that Asha played the role of Mata Shabari in Om Raut's film 'Adipurush'. In this film, famous actor Prabhas was seen in the role of Lord Ram and actress Kriti Sanon in the role of Mata Janaki.

Asha Sharma was bedridden for more than a year. Actress Tina Ghai told the media that, “After the release of her film Adipurush last year, she fell four times. She had been bedridden since last April. She was ready to work, even at that stage. Asha Sharma wanted to work until her last breath. She was in bed, but she would often ask me to get her a role in which she had to play a character lying on the bed. Despite being unwell, her passion and enthusiasm remained intact.”
