Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal portrayed the role of Shaheed Sardar Udham Singh in the biopic of legendary freedom fighter, who killed Sir Micheal O'Dwyer. The biopic was surely Vicky’s one of the best pictures.
Today, on December 26, it’s Sadar Udham Singh’s 122nd birth anniversary and to mark this occasion, Vicky Kaushal has shared a series of pictures – a monochrome picture of a legend fighter and a picture of himself from the movie and the third picture of movie’s director Shoojit Sircar holding a placard, which reads, “LONG LIVE UDHAM,” on social media.
While sharing the picture, the actor wrote, “Remembering Shaheed Sardar Udham Singh on his 122nd birth anniversary today. (26th Dec 1899 - 31st July 1940) (with folded hands emoticons).”
The biopic of the legendary freedom fighter was released on October 16, 2021, on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Videos. The film has won the hearts of millions with a gripping story of the revolutionary’s life, impeccable performance by the actor and brilliant cinematography. The picture showed the killing of Sir Micheal O’Dwyer, which definitely sent chills down the spine.
The film was directed by Shoojit Sircar and was produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar. Biopic Sardar Udham, also starred Shaun Scott, Stephen Hogan, Banita Sandhu, Kirsty Averton and Amol Parashar.
