In the case involving the death of Haryana BJP politician Sonali Phogat, new details are coming to light. According to the Goa Police, who are looking into the case, Sonali was given drugs under force. This drug was given by his PA Sudhir Sangwan and Sukhwinder. Both of them have confessed this to the Goa Police. Both have been arrested.

According to Goa DGP Jaspal Singh, Sudhir and Sukhwinder have confessed that they forcibly drugged Sonali on the night of 22 August. Chemicals were given to them by being mixed in liquid. Both brought Sonali to the washroom as her condition began to deteriorate as a result of a drug overdose. They spent two hours in the washroom with Sonali.

DGP of Goa told that the police have also got the CCTV footage of a club. In this footage, Sudhir Sangwan is seen giving Sonali a drink mixed with something in the bottle. There may be a chemical in the liquid in that bottle.

In connection with this, Goa IG Omvir Singh also gave a press conference. According to the IG, available evidence and CCTV footage show Sudhir Sangwan and Sukhwinder were partying in the club. Both forced Sonali to drink something during this time. This liquid may contain a synthetic drug whose name has not been revealed yet.

IG Omvir Singh further said that it is seen in the CCTV footage that Sonali is not being handled after drinking the liquid. Following that, Sonali is seen being managed by Sudhir and Sukhwinder. After some time, both took Sonali to the bathroom and stayed there for two hours on another camera footage.

IG said that the investigation of this case is going on. By including the FSL team, police will gather evidence against the accused. In 24 hours, both will be brought before the court.
