In a shocking development, reports of a shooting near Jalandhar’s Wadala Chowk have come to light. A youth wearing a turban got off the bus and was shot in the back by another person who was also travelling in the same bus. The entire incident was captured on CCTV. The injured has been admitted to the civil hospital for treatment.
Giving information, a witness at the scene named Gurdeep Singh informed that a bus arrived at the chowk and 2 individuals got off the bus. One of them, who was wearing a turban, got off the bus followed by another person. The second person supporting a haircut, shot the youth wearing the turban and quickly fled from the scene in the opposite direction.
Gurdeep said that he was sitting on the other side and thought a tire had burst when the shot was fired. By the time he reached the spot, the youth was on the floor, writhing in pain. He was then transported to the hospital by 3 Nihang Sikhs in an Innova car as per the witness.
