Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has moved-in at the Kothi No. 301, Nanak Niwas in Deep Nagar today ahead of Jalandhar West Bye-elections on July 10. He was welcomed by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders, who welcomed him with bouquets.. During this, AAP party leaders and workers have welcomed him by giving bouquets. AAP has also inaugurated his office on 120 Feet Road today. It is being told that after his ‘Griha Pravesh’ (moving-in) today, CM Mann will stay here for 2 days a week and will solve the problems of the party and the people.
Several ministers have also camped in Jalandhar ahead of the bye-election. It is clear that AAP does not want to leave any stone unturned to win the West constituency seat.

The Kothi where CM Mann will be staying belongs to reputed Civil Surgeon Dr. Ranbir Singh and his wife Dr. Harleen. The 5-bedroom, double storey house, is built in Royal Estate on the main road before Deep Nagar on the old Phagwara road. The construction is on 23 marlas from the ground floor and 33 marlas above. It is situated on the old GT road at a distance of about 1200 meters from Bath Castle turn of Paragpur.
Punjab CM Mann announced he will shift his base to Jalandhar in the coming days to ensure that party wins this seat with historic margin, executing the strategy from a rented house. He said that he will live in this house for minimum two three days in a week and ensure victory of party. According to sources, discussions are going on for CM Mann to rent the residence for upto 3 years.
The CM further said that even after elections the house in city will act as a CM camp office for the residents of Doaba and Majha region. He said that the residents of both regions can come to this camp office to finish their routine work. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that he will be personally available to people at this house for effective and immediate redressal of grievances of people.
