Upon its high-profile visit to the century-old spiritual and religious outfit Dera Radha Soami in Punjab’s Beas, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Dera Mukhi Gurinder Singh Dhillon and discussed a wide range of matters over the functioning of Satsang and other matters around societal welfare.
Established back in 1891 the Dera is approximately 45 km from the city of Amritsar and is a center of huge religious importance, people especially from Punjab, Haryana, and Himachal Pradesh and even from far-flung regions of the country pay visits to the Satsang and Dera’s other religious congregations.
It is PM Modi’s second visit to Dera Beas this year after he paid a visit back in February. Upon his return from his visit then he informed publicly how great he feels upon visiting Dera Radha Soami in Beas.

PM Modi meets Dera Mukhi Gurinder Singh Dhillon in Beas; Know who he is
As per the schedule, PM Modi is also likely to visit the grand kitchen ‘Langar’ at the Dera Radha Soami Beas which has the capacity of attending around 50,000 people at a time.
A prominent reason that many believe PM Modi’s close inclination toward Dera Radha Soami can be its non-controversial image and has no severe allegations against it or any of the workers working there.
Dera Radha Soami, Beas has never interfered in ongoing politics. There is no denying the fact that workers working keep a check on which political parties’ people are followers of Dera but never comment on politics directly or indirectly.
