In tragic news, 5 people lost their lives as a cemetery’s wall suddenly collapsed in Gurugram,Haryana. The 18-feet wall of the Madanpura situated cemetery’s rear gate fell on 6 unsuspecting people crushing them underneath. As per reports, 2 of the 5 deceased were young girls, and 3 were adults, all residents of the Arjun Nagar Colony. The entire incident was caught on CCTV
The deceased have been identified as Tanya (11), Khushboo (10), Devi Dyal alias Pappu (70), Manoj Gaba (54), and Kishan Kumar (52). The wall, reported to be 18-feet tall, was of the crematorium’s back gate.
The injured, Dilip Kumar, said that the Cremation Land Reform Committee were informed about the poor condition of the wall, but they failed to do the necessary repairs. A case under various sections has been registered against the crematorium management committee by the police of New Colony Station.
