In a major development, the Vigilance Bureau in Punjab has conducted a search operation at two locations of former minister Sunder Sham Arora, who was recently released on bail from the Punjab-Haryana High Court. The search operation was conducted at a palace located on Tanda Road and a shopping mall on Jalandhar Bypass in Hoshiarpur.
According to sources, the officials from the Civil Engineering Wing of the Vigilance Bureau are measuring the palace and shopping mall to investigate the amount of disproportionate assets that Sunder Sham Arora has accumulated while holding the post of minister. The officials are also evaluating the expensive materials used in the construction of the palace and shopping mall.

It is noteworthy that the Vigilance Bureau had already measured Sunder Sham Arora's house before, where they found a currency note counting machine. This discovery had caused quite a stir, with Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann taking a jibe at the former minister during a speech in Jalandhar.
The latest search operation comes as part of the ongoing investigation into corruption charges against the former minister.
