Chris Gayle may be getting towards the end of his career, but his electrifying batting performance and on-field celebrations contradict his age. The 41-year-old, who is one of the most destructive openers in the shorter format of the game, stole the show with his antics during the fourth T20 International against South Africa.

Gayle decided to imitate Kevin Sinclair by breaking into a cartwheel at the National Cricket Stadium in Grenada after showing South Africa opener Reeza Hendricks the exit door.

Gayle was asked to share the new ball with pacer Fidel Edwards and he didn't disappoint.

Hendricks (2) was bowled on his first delivery of the over, and Gayle celebrated with a somersault-like cartwheel to the delight of cricket fans. Gayle's comical cartwheel quickly went viral on Twitter. The Universe Boss later disclosed that Kevin Sinclair's celebration had been requested by his teammates. See Video Here.

South Africa was restricted to 146/9 in pursuit of a 168-run total, as West Indies won by 21 runs to tie the five-match series at 2-2. Despite losing Fabian Allen to a shoulder injury, the hosts won the match by defending their 167/6 total.

Dwayne Bravo stepped up and took four wickets, including Quinton de Kock's prized scalp (60). Kieron Pollard, the skipper, also contributedwith the ball in Allen's absence, registering figures of 1/24 in his four overs.

Gayle collected two catches in addition to taking the wicket of opener Hendricks. With bowling numbers of 1/11 in two overs, he was able to mask his poor batting performance.

“Chris (Gayle) bowling that one over and getting a wicket... sometimes you take a risk and it works,” Pollard said after being named Player of the Match for his unbeaten half-century and one wicket.

Pollard smashed a half-century in 24 deliveries, including five sixes, to finish 51 not out. He hit three sixes in the 19th over for 25 runs, which was nearly the difference between the two teams.
