Viral Video: Mumbaikars put overturned car back on its wheels

In schools we are taught ‘Unity is strength’ and a viral video from Mumbai is a perfect example of this. A video in which Mumbaikars can be seen putting an overturned car back on its wheel is doing rounds on the internet.

In the viral video from Walkshwar in South Mumbai, around 10 to 15 people can be seen putting an overturned Ecosport car back onto its wheels. Meanwhile, locals were assisting the police officer in solving the problem that occurred in between a busy road.

The video was originally posted on Instagram by Binjal Parekh, which later was shared by photographer and content creator Manav Manglani on his official Instagram account.

While sharing the post Manav Manglani captioned the post, “DUM LAGAKE HAISHAAA The famous Mumbaikar spirit seen here in full force as people passing by helped and got an overturned car back on its feet in Walkeshwar #mumbai today #THURSDAY #helpinghands #ManavManglani @manav.manglani video courtesy @binjalparekh (sic).”

Later, the video was also posted on youtube.

As soon as the video was posted on social media, it went viral and netizens are now appreciating Mumbai people for their unity. While praising the people in the video, a social media user wrote, “Absolutely true. Nothing like the spirit of Mumbai," one user said. Another one added, "And once they were finished all went to their merry business. No nonsense, that's why it's called Mumbai. No other city in the world has such helpful people, who stop from their busy life, help you and go away."

Another social media user said, “So good to see Aamchi Mumbai back on its feet.”
