In the wake of India’s celebration of its 76th Independence Day. A melodious gift in the form of a video has come across the border for 1.4 billion Indians. Siyal Khan, a Rabab player from Pakistan has posted a video on his Twitter handle showing him playing the tune of India’s national anthem ‘Jana Gana Mana’.
The video is being overwhelmingly shared on social media and has received a bulk load of warm responses from Netizens across the borders. With the video, Siyal captioned, “Here's a gift for my viewers across the border."
The rabab is a musical instrument, similar to the lute. Which is immensely popular in Pakistan, Afghanistan, and parts of Kashmir.
