A shameful and appealing video is on round on social media where an Uttar Police Constable posted in Firozabad is seen holding a plate of meals in his hand and complaining about the quality of food being served to them.
In the video, the constable is seen crying over the substandard food being served and over the threat, he has been given by his senior officials if he reaches out to the public to complain about the quality of food being given to them.
“Koi sunne wala nahi hai is vibhaag mein, Kaptaan sahab chamber mein aaye maine Jai Hind kiya aur kaha aap isme se 4 ya 5 roti kha lijiye, kam se kam aapko ye to pata chale ki aapke jawan 12 ghanta duty karne ke baad ye rotiyan kha rahe,” the constable said while complaining about the department’s scenario.
The constable was crying all through the course of 1.37 minutes clip. He said, “Whom should I say that I haven’t eaten since morning my parents are not here, no one is listening.” The constable while holding the plate in his hand said an official from the DGP office said that hang up the phone or else you will be suspended. Similar intimidation he received from his seniors saying if he dared to move into public with the plate.

Another policeman was seen standing beside the constable as the events unfolded with scores of people surrounding them. The video is widely shared on social media criticizing the UP government over the plight of the police.
