A woman created a high voltage drama in Patna after she was stopped by police officers for violating lockdown norms imposed to curb the coronavirus spread. The woman was found riding a scooty without a helmet when police stopped her. When asked why she was violating lockdown norms, she started abusing police officers.

The woman could be seen shouting at the policemen in the middle of the road threatening them of dire consequences if they issued a challan against her name.

She can be heard saying “jab mann kia lockdown laga dete hai, bazar band karwa dete hai.” she further said that has anybody asked the poor how they are surviving in these corona times? Anybody who goes to provide them food, police catch hold of such people and issues challan. Where does the money collected from these challans go to?

She says all money that police collect through issuing challan, goes to CM Nitish Kumar’s pocket. Everybody is declared to have been infected with Covid-19, she further argues with the police. She says ‘kisko corona nahi hai aaj ki date mein. Hospital bhi unki, report bhi unka aur paise but rahe hai’, the woman, however, doesn’t seem like listening to what the cops have to say.

This won’t be the first time any citizen is seen defying covid guidelines. Since the country was hit with novel coronavirus in 2020, people are seen taking all the required norms casually, be it wearing a face mask or following social distancing.
