Team India star batter Virat Kohli is undoubtedly among the modern-day greats. Termed the 'chase master', Virat Kohli is hailed by cricket pundits for his measured approach when Team India is chasing a total. While Virat Kohli has hanged his boots from T20Is, the cricketer will continue to represent India in 50 overs & Test format. The Delhi-born cricketer is currently in London spending his time with his wife Anushka Sharma and his two children Akaay & Vamika. In the meantime, Virat Kohli's Class 10th mark sheet on Sunday went viral on social media.
Going by the viral post that discusses Virat Kohli's educational qualification, the Team India batter passed matriculation from the CBSE board. Virat scored the highest marks in English Communication i.e. 83 out of 100, while Kohli's lowest marks was in mathematics i.e. 55/100. Overall Virat Kohli scored 69.8% in his Class 10th. For the unversed, the RCB star is 12th pass and has never gone to any college. Kohli continued to follow his passion which was to play cricket and represent India at the international level.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli will return to his India duties during the ODI series against Sri Lanka. Earlier, it was reported that Virat will skip the Sri Lanka series, however, Team India's new Head Coach Gautam Gambhir reportedly requested both Kohli and Rohit Sharma to be part of India's 50-over squad for the Sri Lanka series. As a result, both Kohli & Rohit complied with Gambhir's request, and hence and they will be back for India vs Sri Lanka ODI series.
Team India is slated for three T20s & three ODIs in Sri Lanka. This will be Gautam Gambhir's first assignment as Team India's Head Coach. Gambhir has appointed Suryakumar Yadav as the skipper of the Men In Blue in the T20 format. Rohit Sharma has retired from this format in international cricket.
