Punjab Government has intensified its action under 'War on Drugs' in the state and has resorted to Bulldozer Action. Late Tuesday night, a team of Punjab Police demolished the house of a notorious drug smuggler with a bulldozer. A video of this action has also surfaced, in which the officers who arrived with the bulldozer are ordering that the house be demolished.
According to the information received, Punjab Police took this action in Talwandi area. On Wednesday, Punjab Police released a video and shared information about this case. The house of Talwandi's drug mafia Sonu has been demolished. Sonu was involved in drug smuggling for three years and 6 FIRs have been registered against him in various police stations in Punjab. In view of the said FIR, the police took this action. The police believe that the said property has been built by selling drugs.
Punjab government has named the action 'War on Drugs' Campaign. In a statement issued by the Punjab Police, it was said that this was a big action by the Punjab government under WAR ON DRUGS. Along with this, there is a warning to those drug dealers who are selling drugs in the area. If anyone is found smuggling, then such action will be taken against him as well.
