Portland, USA: Punjabi brothers of Kapurthala shot dead outside shopping mall, Accused arrested
A day after two Punjabi brothers from Kapurthala were killed in Portland City of the United States, another 30-year-old Punjabi youth was killed. On Thursday, 30 year old, Punjabi youth who belongs to village Jalalbhulana Kapurthala living in America died of bullet injuries he suffered while fighting with robbers in Vancouver City, Washington State. The deceased had gone to America only a year back. CCTV footage of this incident has also come out. As soon as this information reached the village of Jalal Bhulana, there was mourning in the family, and a wave of mourning spread in the entire village.
According to the bereaved family, 30-year-old Navjot Singh was still a bachelor and had been dreaming of settling abroad since the beginning. He was trying to go abroad for a long time and only last year he succeeded in his efforts and went to America. There he was working at a gas station in Vancouver, Washington State. While working at the store, the robbers shot him while carrying out the robbery. According to the information, Navjot was working at the gas station store as usual. During this, the robbers entered the store with the intention of looting. It is being told that Navjot fulfills the demands of the robbers, yet the robbers open fire on him. Due to this Navjot Singh died on the spot. CCTV footage of this incident has also come to the fore. The relatives of the deceased met Rajya Sabha member Sant Balbir Singh Seechewal and requested to bring the body of the deceased to India. Nowadays America is more famed for an increase in murder cases of Punjabi youths living there.
