New Zealand’s Ludhiana-born Inderbin Singh Sodhi, popularly known as Ish Sodhi, recently attempted his native language Punjabi, the video of the same was posted by the International Cricket Council (ICC) on the social media.
While posting the video ICC wrote, “Meet Inderbir Singh Sodhi, our Punjabi commentator”.

In the video, the leg-spinner said that he believes there should be Punjabi commentary in cricket, as he spoke fluent Punjabi while commentating on an old match.
Earlier, a journalist asked to speak Hindi at that time the leg-spinner responded with hilarity that his mother would punish him if he said even a single word incorrectly. He went on to say that he had been working hard to enhance his Hindi speaking abilities.
Ish was born in Ludhiana on October 31, 1992 and moved to New Zealand when he was just four.
