A video interaction tweeted by the official Twitter account of the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel, shows the Israeli PM Naftali Bennett praising Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi by saying: "You are the most popular person in Israel".
Mr Bennett had also asked PM Modi to come and “join my party” with both sharing waves of laughter.
This was both leaders' maiden formal meeting on Tuesday on the sidelines of the COP26 climate summit during which they analysed bilateral ties between the two countries along with an exchange of views on expanding cooperation in areas of high technology and innovation.
This meeting came after the top leaders shared a brief interaction on Monday during the climate conference in Glasgow.
Further recalling the brief meeting they had on Monday, PM Modi said that Indians deeply value the friendship with Israel.

"Glad to have met, yet again, PM @naftalibennett. We had fruitful talks on boosting India-Israel friendship in sectors such as research, innovation and futuristic technologies. These sectors are critical for empowering our youngsters," tweeted Modi.
Mr Bennett at the beginning of the meeting thanked PM Modi for restarting the relationship between India and Israel. “You're the person who restarted the relationship between India and Israel, which is a deep relationship between two unique civilizations - the Indian civilization, the Jewish civilization - and I know it comes from your heart," said Mr Bennett.
Mr Bennett who became Israel's Prime Minister in June this year vowed to bring the ties between the two countries to a new level that was started by his predecessor Benjamin Netanyahu.
"Indeed! We shall continue working together for stronger bilateral ties and a better planet," PM Modi replied in a tweet.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) in a tweet said, "Furthering ties with our Strategic Partner. PM @narendramodi met PM of Israel @naftalibennett in Glasgow today.”

"In their first such engagement, the two leaders reviewed our bilateral ties and discussed expanding cooperation in areas of high-technology & innovation," it added.
The external ministry later in a brief statement stated that the two leaders have reviewed bilateral strategic partnerships and communicated satisfaction over the growth made in various quarters. "They agreed on further expanding cooperation, especially in the areas of high-technology and innovation," the statement added.
