The recent snowfall in the hills has started to affect the plains, causing slight changes in Punjab’s weather. The Meteorological Department has issued a major alert, predicting dense fog to cover the state starting November 27.
While visibility is expected to drop significantly, the department has confirmed that there is no possibility of rain, and the weather will remain dry. This year, Punjab has recorded 99% less rainfall compared to the usual 3.5 mm expected between November 24 and 27. Residents are advised to take precautions, especially during early mornings and evenings, when fog conditions are likely to be at their worst.
