Millions of Microsoft Windows users were experiencing the "Blue Screen of Death" error that caused their computers to shut down or restart. Now, the question arises what went wrong with Microsoft or what was the Microsoft Crash reason? The answer is Crowdstrike update.
What is Crowdstrike Update?
The cause is currently unconfirmed, but cybersecurity software firm Crowdstrike has reported blue screens of death and has said that the cause is currently under investigation. Crowdstrike is an American cyber security company. As per reports, Microsoft said the preliminary root cause was a "configuration change" in a portion of its Azure backend workloads. It caused interruption between storage and compute resources which resulted in connectivity failures that affected downstream Microsoft 365 services dependent on these connections.
On the other hand, Crowdstrike reportedly said, "We have widespread reports of BSODs on Windows hosts, occurring on multiple sensor versions."
