Dinesh Phadnis's death comes days after he was admitted to hospital and was in critical condition. Dinesh Phadnis' death was confirmed by fellow co-actor Dayanand Shetty. What happened to Dinesh Phadnis?
A news portal quoted Dayanand Shetty, who informed that Dinesh Phadnis died of multiple organ failure. "There were a lot of complications and he was removed from the ventilator last night," Daya was quoted saying. Dines Phadnis' funeral will reportedly take place in Mumbai at 10.30 am.
On Sunday, it was reported that Dinesh suffered a cardiac arrest, following which he was rushed to hospital. However, later, it was confirmed that it was not cardiac arrest but liver damage.
For those who are unaware, Dinesh became a household name after playing the role of Fredericks in the long-running TV show CID, which first aired in 1998 and ran for twenty years on Sony TV. Apart from CID, Phadnis also made an appearance on the popular TV show- Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and also played supporting roles in movies like Super 30 and Sarfarosh.
