In a shocking development, K-pop sensation Park Bo Ram died on Thursday at the age of 30. Park Bo Ram who took part in Mnet's SuperStar K2 was found unconscious at her friend's house. Park Bo Ram's death has shocked South Korea and K-pop fans around the world. Park Bo Ram's death was confirmed on Friday by her agency Xanadu Entertainment. What happened to Park Bo Ram?
As per Korean media reports, Park Bo Ram was drinking at a friend's house when she died. The 30-year-old Korean singer went to the washroom and after not returning for a while, a friend checked up on her and found her unconscious on the sink. After Park Bo Ram was found unconscious, her friends reportedly tried to do CPR and immediately called for emergency services which transported her to Hanyang University Guri Hospital.
Talking about what happened to Park Bo Ram, the Korean Police have started an investigation and are yet to reveal Park Bo Ram's cause of death. The police have asked the National Forensic Service to conduct an autopsy to confirm the exact cause of death.
Notably, Park had released two new songs earlier this year and was working on new music recently. One of her songs about weight loss gained major traction for being motivational. As a result, fans are sensing and expressing on social media that there might be foul play in Park Bo Ram's death case.
Xanadu Entertainment, Bo Ram’s agency, in a statement reportedly said, "Park Bo Ram suddenly left us in the late evening of April 11. Our hearts are deeply troubled as we deliver this sudden news to her fans. A wake and funeral proceedings will be scheduled after a discussion with the singer's family."
