Guy Oseary in an Instagram post issued a statement about Madonna's health and wrote, "On Saturday, June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which lead to a several-day stay in the ICU. Her health is improving, however, she is still under medical care. At this time we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour. " Madonna's manager clarified that the new schedule of the popstar's concert will be shared as soon as possible once she will be medically cleared.

For the unversed, Madonna's next tour named ‘Celebration Tour’, was scheduled to kick off from July 15 in Vancouver, Canada, followed by two dates in Seattle starting on July 18. However, due to Madonna's poor health the concert has been canceled. Live Nation produced the Celebration Tour with dates spanning other major cities aside from New York, including Detroit, Chicago, Miami, and Los Angeles before heading to Europe.
