What happened to Nyheim Hines?
As per US media reports, Nyheim Hines is not able to recover from a significant knee injury off-site, and therefore the punt returner will most probably miss the entire 2023 season. NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported that Nyheim Hines was expected to be Buffalo Bills' top pick, however, he suffered a knee injury away from the team facility. For the unversed, Hines joined the team midway through last season from the Indianapolis Colts. Not only this, Hines had only six carries in nine appearances with the Bills in 2022 but scored two kickoff-return touchdowns while averaging 29.2 yards per return.

Talking more, about Hines' American football career, he was a fourth-round pick in 2018. The 26-year-old spent four-plus seasons in Indianapolis. He is the NC State product who posted the most productive campaign of his career in 2020, amassing 862 scrimmage yards and seven total touchdowns.
