Running Point, a series showing the perfect mix of humor, family drama, and the high-stakes world of professional basketball, was recently released on Netflix. People love this sports comedy, but the interesting fact is that this sports comedy was made after being inspired by many true events and stories.

The storyline of Runny Point is a fictionalized version of the events that occurred in real events and were observed by the filmmakers of the film. The audience resembled the story of Isla Gordon, played by Kate Hudson in the film, to Jeanie Buss - who is the owner and president of real-life basketball team Los Angeles Lakers.

Buss became the owner of the team after her father passed away in 2013, following which she made history as the first female owner to win an NBA championship in 2020.
