Unikon.ai was founded by Palash Arneja, Akash Anand, and Sumit in early 2024. This unique start-up addresses the issue of low responses received on other social media platforms. Unlike these social media platforms, Unikon.ai provides its professional users with incentives for getting engaged in a conversation and for responding to call requests.
These professional users of this AI-powered platform are allowed to set their own rates for the time they invest in the conversations. This platform has features like Uniseek and UniKonnect which allows the users to earn by sharing their advice and expertise. It took almost around 6 months to develop the technology behind this unique AI platform.
The co-founder of Unikon.ai, Palash Arneja had become a Chartered Accountant before the age of 21. He comes from a middle-class family. He had previously worked in Swiss Bank, HSBC and Deloitte. Another founder Akash Anand has previously founded Bella Vitta, a fragrance and skincare brand. Sumit had founded ZebPay before being the founder of Unikon.
This unique idea was born when the founders of Unikon.ai, Palash and Akash found out that only 1% of the messages gets responded back in the platforms like LinkedIn. So, in order to bring the change, the founders decided to develop a platform where professionals will get paid for responding to the messages and for sharing their experiences.
Unikon.ai provides options for chat, audio, and video calls. It allows the users to post a short video where they can describe their problems or needs and others can offer them help and get paid for it. Users can also host or join webinars, events, or shows in the platform. This platform also allows the users to search for professionals with the use of filters and ratings in order to find the right professional for the conversation. Unikon takes 20% Commission. Users can view their earning in the wallet and can withdraw their earnings after 24 hours.
This AI-powered platform has raised funds from around 40 angel investors. The investor list includes Nikhil Kamath, Peyush Bansal and Tanmay Bhat. On the first day of the app’s launch, 5000 people had installed it. A team of 50 people are working to further improve the platform.
