Wipro, a Bengaluru-based IT giant, on Saturday announced Srinivas Pallia as the company's new CEO & MD. Srinivas Pallia's appointment as Wipro's new CEO & MD came after Thierry Delaporte stepped down from his role to pursue his passion away from the workplace. Notably, Thierry Delaporte was hired by Wipro in 2020 and after serving the company for four years, he resigned from his post making the way for Srinivas Pallia. What is Wipro CEO's Salary?
As per reports, in December 2023, Wipro reported that Delaporte has a salary package of over Rs 82 crore per annum, making him the highest-paid CEO in the Indian IT sector. Wipro's former CEO Delaporte has a bachelor’s degree in economy and finance from SciencesPo Paris and a Master of Laws from the Sorbonne University. He has lived in multiple countries across four continents and currently lives in Paris.
It is pertinent to mention here that Srinivas Pallia's salary has not been revealed but it is expected that he may be getting more than Delaporte.
Who is Srinivas Pallia?
Srinivas Pallia has been with Wipro for over three decades and most recently served as the CEO for Americas 1, Wipro's biggest and fastest-growing strategic market. In this role, he oversaw diverse industry sectors, established their vision, and implemented growth strategies, resulting in increased market shares within these sectors. Srini is a member of the Wipro Executive Board.

Talking about Srinivas Pallia's education, Wipro's new CEO & MD did his Masters in management studies from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He graduated from Harvard Business School’s Leading Global Businesses executive program, and the Advanced Leadership Program at McGill Executive Institute. Srinivas also has a bachelor's degree in Engineering.
