Kareena Kapoor turns 41 today. Kareena briefly studied computer science before making her acting debut in JP Dutta's Refugee in 2000.
Kareena spoke about that time in her life when she featured on an episode of Rendezvous With Simi Garewal. She told Simi, "Honestly, Harvard was just like having a good time and having a blast." Kareena said that her mother Babita and sister Karisma Kapoor did not want her to attend to Harvard University for three months to study microcomputers and information technology, but she made her own arrangements, filled out documents, and went anyway.
Simi remarked that Kareena's acceptance to Harvard was more important to the Kapoor family than her Oscar triumph. “Oh God!” Kareena explained. It was the largest thing that had ever happened. Everyone was shocked to learn that my niece, my this, and my that had been enrolled to Harvard. Kapoor girl, no brains, has gone to Harvad. No one could believe that I had gone to Harvard. They all celebrated.”

However, things did not turn out as she had expected after she arrived to Harvard. “I wouldn't call it a party. It was difficult. I would wake up at 4.30 a.m. and go to the library to finish my assignments,” she explained.
Kareena eventually changed her mind and opted to follow her original ambition of being an actress. Kareena Kapoor has appeared in films such as Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Omkara, Jab We Met, Heroine, 3 Idiots, and others after starring with Abhishek Bachchan in Refugee.
She shared the photo on Instagram Stories, which shows her and Saif Ali Khan posing together at their resort. As Saif placed his arm around her, the sea could be seen in the backdrop. Saif donned his usual white kurta, but it's unknown what Kareena was wearing besides a few bracelets.
On the work front, Laal Singh Chaddha, starring Aamir Khan, will be her next film. She also revealed that it was the first time in her career that she auditioned for a movie part. In the year 2020, she was last seen with Irrfan Khan in the film Angrezi Medium.
