Bollywood actress & siblings, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor on Thursday appeared at the latest episode of Koffee with Karan Season 8. 'The Kapoor Sisters'- Janhvi and Khushi opened up on social media trolling, their personal and even how they cope with their mother Sridevi's death. During the Koffee with Karan 8, Janhvi Kapoor revealed that she was in her room when she got the call about her mother's death and she heard Khushi's 'wailing' in her room. Below is how Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor cope with their mother Sridevi's death-
Narrating how she reacted and coped with her mother's death, Khushi Kapoor said, "I think it took me a while. It did suddenly hit me after a while. But I was a bit confused when ...I don't know. But, I had Janhvi, I had Dad."
Janhvi replied, "The thing I remember when I got the call I was in my room and I could hear wailing from Khushi's room. I think I barged into her room howling and crying. But what I do remember, Karan, is she looked at me. And the minute she looked at me she just stopped crying. And she just sat next to me and started comforting me. I have never seen her cry ever since."
Khushi replied, "I think I felt I had to hold it together for everyone because I feel like I have always been the 'strong' one."
Sridevi's death
Pan India actress Sridevi died on February 24, 2018, at the age of 54 in her hotel room in Dubai. Sridevi along with her family including Boney Kapoor was staying in a Dubai luxurious hotel to attend a family function. However, Dubai authorities claimed that Sridevi died due to an accidental drowning in a bathtub in her hotel room, a forensic report revealed on February 26 of the same year. Many social media users could not take Sridevi's death as a natural one and believed there might be some foul play and hence Boney Kapoor's name popped up. However, Dubai authorities confirmed that Sridevi's death was accidental drowning.
