The 67-year-old Punjabi singer also narrated a story related to Sidhu Moose Wala. Gurdas Maan narrated that when he first listened to Sidhu Moose Wala's romantic he could not resist but to dial him directly. Below is an excerpt from the interview-
"When I heard his song for the first time 'tu 5 foot 10 mai 6 foot 2'. It was a very romantic song. I thought Sidhu had written a romance in his song which is not quite usual. Gurickk (Gurdas Mann's son) was with me in the car. I asked if it was possible that I can speak to Sidhu Moose Wala. If I like something or someone I talk to the person at that particular moment. So, I don't waste my time. I want to express what I am feeling. I even sang the lyrics to Sidhu. I asked him that I wanted to talk to his mother. I called him and said that I loved your song.
Thereafter, Gurikk continued to remain in Sidhu's contact. He tried that me and Sidhu collaborate. To meet me for just half an hour, he came to Mumbai. But, I could not meet him personally because my flight from Chandigarh to Mumbai was very late and he had to return."
