In a shocking development, Mumbai Police Crime Branch on Monday busted a sex racket in the city and arrested casting director & actress Aarti Mittal in the case. As per reports, Aarti Mittal was arrested for running sex racket in the city. To be precise, Mumbai Crime Branch mentioned, “Mumbai Crime Branch Unit 11, Dindoshi police busted a sex racket running in Goregaon area. Two models were rescued from the spot and a 30-year-old casting director, Aarti Mittal was arrested in this case.” Reportedly, the models rescued were sent to the rehab centre. They revealed that the actress has promised to pay them Rs 15000 each. A dummy customer was sent to the hotel by the police and this is how they busted the sex racket and arrested the actress. After interacting with them, Aarti lured them with a hefty amount, which the models usually did not deny. Going by her social media profile, Aarti has a wide range of followers. She has 103k following and the actress seems to be quite frequent on social media. In her bio, Aarti states that she is the owner of @trademarkedplantasticfilms which seems to be a casting company. She has worked in the television serial Appnapan - Badalate Rishton Ka Bandhan. Earlier, in a social media post, she disclosed that she was busy shooting for a movie, alongside Bollywood actor R Madhavan.
How Aarti Mittal was caught red-handed running a sex racket?
The intelligence about the sex racket first reached Police Inspector Manoj Sutar. To trick the trickster, Manoj contacted Aarti, identifying himself as a customer. He urged her to send two girls for two of his friends. The Police Inspector claimed that the 27-year-old casting director demanded a sum of Rs 60,000 for sending the girls before forwarding their pictures on Manoj’s cellphone. Aarti informed Manoj she will send the two models either to a Juhu-based hotel or a Goregaon one. Accordingly, Manoj chose Goregaon and booked two rooms for his two dummy customers from the crime branch who arrived at the location. As soon as Aarti reached the premises with the two women, she handed the undercover inspectors contraceptives. All of this was recorded as proof.
