Miranda Lambert rapping her female fans and halting her performance during the live concert over selfies has started to grab global attention. Miranda Lambert came under the scanner of social media after her video slamming female fans went viral on social media. During a recent performance of her "Velvet Rodeo" Las Vegas residency at the Bakkt Theater, Miranda Lambert abruptly halted her performance to call out some fans for taking selfies during the show. In the Miranda Lambert viral video, the country singer was heard saying, "These girls are worried about their selfies and not listening to the song, and it’s p---ing me off a little bit," Lambert said adding "I don’t like it, at all. We’re here to hear some country music tonight." After calling out the fans, the country singer continued her performing by saying, "Shall we start again?", Now the question arises who were the selfie girls or who were the fans scolded by the country singer? Below is what we know so far-
A prominent US media outlet shared a selfie of a bunch of female fans and allege that one of them was scolded by the country singer. As per reports, one of the women in question who's now copping to being part of the group that got scolded by Lambert -- posted two pics she says were being taken right before the country singer paused her show over the weekend to give them a piece of her mind. In the viral photo, six women can be seen standing in front of the stage while Lambert can be seen standing with the mic. Going by the pictures, these female fans apparently blocked the view of others in order to get their selfies which fumed the country singer.
Another report suggests that female fans who were lambasted during the live show were totally 'appalled' by the singer's reaction. The name of one of the girls has been revealed as Adela Calin. As per US media reports, Adela Calin is a Vegas influencer. Adela was quoted saying that she and her friends could not believe it when Lambert paused in the middle of singing the ballad “Tin Man” after she eyed the woman and five or her friends posing for a mid-show selfie. “It was 30 seconds at most,” said Calin adding that “We took the picture quickly and were going to sit back down.”
Miranda Lambert scolding the fans came at a time when multiple pop stars and singers have been injured with objects thrown at them by fans during live concerts, Pop stars including- Bebe Rexha, Harry Styles, Ava Max, Kelsea Ballerini, Pink, and more. Apart from these pop stars, Adele's video from her concert went viral in which the British Singer was addressing the fan attack issue.
DEBATE: Miranda Lambert stopped her concert to scold to fans who were taking selfies while she sang. Were they wrong to take pictures instead of listening to the music? Or their right to enjoy the concert however they want since they paid for it? pic.twitter.com/cTE9VudGeD
