Tunisha Sharma the Ali Baba Dastaan-E-Kabul fame, the 20-year-old actress died by suicide earlier today on the sets of a TV Show. Soon after the case was reported the actress was rushed to a hospital in Maharashtra as per the police, who is investigating on the matter.
Tunisha who made her debut with the TV show, Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap was doing fairly well and featured in some of the top shows including Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat, Gabbar Poonchwala, Sher-e-Punjab: Maharaja Ranjit Singh, Internet Wala Love and Ishq Subhan Allah.
The actress also starred as Shehzaadi Mariam in Ali Baba Dastaan-E-Kabul. Over to that the 20-year-old Sharma also appeared in Bollywood films playing several small roles. This includes Fitoor, Baar Baar Dekho where she essayed the role of Katrina Kaif's younger version. She was also a part of Kahaani 2: Durga Rani Singh as Minnie Sinha. Besides this, she also appeared in Salman Khan's Dabangg 3.
Tunisha in her short career collaborated with several actors from the Indian TV Industry including prominent faces like Shivin Narang, who once said about Tunisha, "I have watched Fitoor and I found her (Tunisha) cute. And yes, I am looking forward to working with her. Until now we only had the look test and scripting session done. What we can tell about her is that she is a good actress. She has a different take towards her work as she’s just 16 years and is very new to television.”
