Hollywood actor Mathew Perry died at the age of 54 last year but the mystery revolving around his demise is yet to be solved. Mathew Perry who became a household name for portraying the character of Chandler Bing passed away due to the "acute effects of ketamine". For the unversed, Perry was found unconscious in his hot tub. Talking about Matthew Perry's cause of death, other factors that contributed to his passing away included 'drowning, coronary artery disease and the effects of buprenorphine'. In Mathew Perry's death case, the US Feds have charged five people.  Among the five people who have been charged is a woman called Jasveen Sangha, infamously known as "the Ketamine Queen". Fleming, 54, Iwamasa, 59, and Chavez, 54, have all taken plea deals in the case. Now, the question arises who is Jasveen Sangha aka 'The Ketamine Queen'? Below is all about Jasveen Sangha- 

Who is Jasveen Sangha?

Infamously known as the Ketamine Queen of Los Angeles', Jasveen Sangha, 41, has been charged by the US authorities with providing the ketamine that caused the overdose deaths of Matthew Perry and another man. 

As per US media reports, Jasveen Sangha became infamous as Ketamine queen for allegedly selling ketamine and meth out of her North Hollywood 'stash house' going back to as early as June 14, 2019. The Feds further alleged that Jasveen Sangha continued to peddle the dangerous drugs until she was arrested on March 19 for selling meth in a prior unrelated case. She had been out on $100,000 bond since March.

Sangha faces  faces a minimum of 10 years behind bars and a maximum of life imprisonment if convicted on all counts.

The drug queen used her North Hollywood home to 'store, package, and distribute narcotics, including providing ketamine to co-conspirator [Erik] Fleming so that co-conspirator Fleming could sell it to Victim Mathew Perry.

Jasveen has dual citizenship- British & American. The Court documents allege that Jasveen gave Fleming 50 vials of ketamine in two separate deals in the weeks leading up to the actor's death. The indictment alleges that Mathew Perry first sampled the drug on October 13, and Erik Fleming subsequently delivered two large batches to the Friends actor's home on October 14 and October 24. Sangha even included "ketamine lollipops" as a bonus due to the size of Mathew Perry's order. 

Jasveen Sangha -- aka the "Ketamine Queen of Los Angeles" was arrested for her role in Matthew Perry's overdose death.

U.S. Attorney Martin Estrada said investigators conducted a wide-ranging investigation following Perry's death in October 2023 that "revealed a broad, underground criminal network responsible for distributing large quantities of ketamine to Mr. Perry and others."

Apart from Jasveen, the other people who have been charged are-  Dr. Salvador Plasencia, 42, a licensed medical doctor known as "Dr. P,", Dr. Mark Chavez, 54, a licensed medical doctor who admitted in court documents to selling ketamine to Plasencia,  Eric Fleming, 54, who admitted in court documents that he distributed the ketamine that killed Perry,  and Mathew Perry's live-in assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, 59, who admitted in court documents to administering the ketamine on the day that the actor died.
