Mayank Pratap Singh is India's youngest judge. He had cleared the Rajasthan Judicial Services exam in 2018 at the age of 21. He is the youngest judge of India who has created history by cracking the Rajasthan Judiciary Services Examination.

Mayank shared about his studies and exam preparations. He said, “I have been studying for 6-8 hours regularly however, at times, I have also extended my studies for over 12 hours too. I took this test after completing my final year of law studies and cracked it as a topper. I expected that I shall clear the exam but I had never hoped to top it. The moment I got the notification of reduction in age, I applied for this exam.”

He shared about not using social media and said, “I never ever had a Facebook account in my life. In fact, I had deactivated all other social media accounts during my exam time. I used internet only to get legal updates, for getting track of some interesting or important judgement of Supreme Court or High Court.”

Who is Mayank Pratap Singh?

Mayank Pratap Singh hails from Jaipur in Rajasthan. He has completed his five-year LLB course from Rajasthan University. He had cleared the Rajasthan Judicial Services exam in his first attempt without attending any coaching classes or using social media.

Mayank’s father had been a principal in Rajkumar Singh Government School and his mother is a teacher in a government school. His father shared that Mayank has been working hard since childhood and has always been a topper in school.

Mayank achieved this success with self-study, hard work and by maintaining a distance from social gatherings. He said that the reduction in the minimum age requirement to appear in the exam was a great move as it helped him in filling vacancies and allowed him to serve more people.
