In a shocking development, a doctor named Oumair Aejaz was arrested on August 8 from his home in the United States after he allegedly placed hidden cameras in a variety of settings from bathrooms, changing areas, hospital rooms, and even his own home where he would record children as young as 2 years old in varying states of undress. Facing at least 10 counts of multiple adult crimes, Oumair Aejaz allegedly recorded physical encounters with many women who were unconscious or asleep. Oumair Aejaz is currently held on $2-million bond but the magnitude of the Indian origin Doctor offenses is not currently known. As per US media reports, Oumair Aejaz, 40, specialises in internal medicine. Dr.Oumair Aejaz moved to the US from India on a work visa in 2011. Netizens have highlighted that he allegedly hails from Bengaluru but True Scoop News cannot verify this claim. Fox reports that Dr.Oumair Aejaz is still an Indian citizen. His first residency took place at Sinai Grace Hospital before spending time in Dawson, Alabama. Thereafter, Aejaz returned to Oakland County in Michigan to continue practice in internal medicine in 2018. Aejaz has also worked in Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township and Ascension Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc, Michigan.
How Dr.Oumair Aejaz's cover was blown?
The matter came to light when his disgusting act was revealed by his wife. The wife came forward with disturbing material. The Oakland County Sheriff informed on August 20 that he allegedly had s*x with several women who were unconscious or asleep. Aijaz had no known criminal history before this. On August 13, Aijaz was formally charged with one count of child s**ual abuse activity, four counts of capturing images of n**e individuals, and five counts of using a computer to commit a crime. Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard said the scope of Aijaz's crimes is so large that a full investigation of his crimes could take several months.
After the Doctor's arrest, the authorities conducted search many times. The Sherrif revealed that during the search they confiscated computers, phones, and 15 external devices. Bouchard informed that single hard drive had 13,000 videos on it. Furthermore, the authorities sense that he may have uploaded videos into cloud storage as well.
As per Fox, one of the videos recovered from Aejaz showcase a mother and her kids inside a changing room at the Goldfish Swimming Club in 2023.
