Fans are filled with a plethora of questions related to Yuvraj Singh's biopic and prominent of them are the release date, which actor will play the former cricketer, and also who will play his father Yograj Singh. While the makers have strictly kept everything under wraps, his father Yograj Singh who is also an actor has given an update on Yuvraj Singh's biopic. In an interview with an entertainment portal, Yograj Singh, who is busy promoting his upcoming Punjabi movie Bibi Rajini, recently talked about Yuvraj Singh's biopic. Not only this, but Yograj Singh also announced that after Yuvi's biopic, a movie on his life will also be released. It means Yograj Singh's biopic will be made after Yuvraj Singh's biopic. During the interview, Yograj Singh was also asked which actor could play Yuvraj Singh and who could play Yograj Singh in the upcoming biopic. Below is what Yograj Singh revealed-
"Yuvraj Singh and Yograj Singh are two different individuals. I have raised Yuvraj in such a way that he can make his own decisions. I dreamed that Yuvraj Singh's biopic to be made at Rocky-level (Hollywood film). I have not read the entire subject as it took 5 years to write it down, which is very important and necessary to motivate the entire world so that people understand how despite fighting deaths, working hard is very important.
The person who despite suffering from cancer keeps on playing for the nation that person can only be Yograj Singh's. The film is going to be very big. The second film is 'The Man of the Longest Hour'that is based on my life and Yuvraj Singh is a small part of it. Both are different films. The only thing is without Yograj Singh, Yuvraj Singh's film cannot be completed, and without Yuvraj Singh, Yograj Singh's film cannot be completed. In Yograj Singh's story, Yuvraj Singh plays only a small part. First, Yuvi's film will be made and released, I want that film to be made on a large scale. Some films have been made on other players but they are not good. After the film is completed and released, Yograj Singh's biopic will also be made. The reason why I want to make my biopic is because children lose hope so early in themselves and it will also be important for parents.
To play my role another Yograj Singh should born (Jokingly said). But, talks are going on and it is at a nascent stage. We will all sit down and decide professionally on who should play whom. Earlier, we decided 'Dad you give the voice over' of the entire movie. Right now it is raw, only the subject has been completed. It will take at least 6 months or 1 year for the movie to go on the floors."
For the unversed, T-Series head Bhushan Kumar, known for films such as Animal and Kabir Singh, is joining forces with producer Ravi Bhagchandka to bring Yuvraj’s story to life. Ravi had earlier backed the 2017 Sachin Tendulkar documentary, Sachin: A Billion Dreams.
