As per reports, Rada Russkikh who is labeled as a 'freak candidate' has been allowed by the Kremlin to run against Russian President Vladimir Putin. A US media report suggests that Rada Russkikh's bid for Russian President is only to improve Putin's image globally and major competitors of the Russian President have been denied to contest the election so that Putin continues to remain in power till 2030. As mentioned above, Rada Russkikh is a podcaster and staunch advocate of cosmetic surgery. Rada Russkikh is also a social media influencer who is quite famous in Russia. Recently, Rada Russkikh had expressed that she feels she is close to defeating Vladimir Putin in the elections, however, reports claim that she has been picked by the Kremlin itself so that she easily loses the polls and Putin remains the President of Russia till 2030.
Rada Russkikh's Russian presidential election manifesto says, "I'm not aiming for the highest position. I just want to deal with the areas that are understandable and known to me. I am a woman, and I am interested in order, comfort and safety. Being a good anti-crisis manager. I am attracted to renewable resources. I want to preserve the heritage, architecture and traditions."
Interestingly, Rada is a staunch critic for old and gas which are key economic successes for Russia even with the Western sanctions placed on them. A Russian Telegram channel Temnik described Rada 'is a typical freak candidate', adding, 'She attracts additional attention to the campaign, improves the image of other candidates, including Putin, by contrast, and also emphasises the presence of competition in the elections.'
Notably, Rada enjoys a moderate amount of following on social media. On Instagram, Rada has a following of 570K followers. She is quite active on Instagram as well in which she regularly uploads her podcast and interacts with Russians and her followers.
Going by her Instagram profile, it can be said that Rada Russkikh has been to India itself. On her visit to India, Rada Russkikh went to the Isha Foundation and sought blessings from 'Adiyogi - The Source of Yoga'.
