While some users are enjoying the change in culture on college campuses especially during fests or events, some are not in favour of this saying it is spreading vulgarity. Recently, a video of Dehradun's famous Graphic Era College fest video viral on social media in which a woman was seen dancing on the stage in her choice of clothes. Later it was revealed that the woman in the Graphic Era College Fest video is none other than the college's President's wife Rakhi Ghanshala. Who is Rakhi Ghanshala?
As per reports, Rakhi Ghanshala is the wife of Graphic Era (Deemed to be University) President Prof. (Dr.) Kamal Ghanshala. According to a YouTube video from Graphic Era College's official channel, Rakhi Ghanshala holds a significant position in the college. Rakhi Ghanshala is the Chief Advisor and Marketing Operations of the college.
College's official website says, "Graphic Era’s beautiful, green and serene campus is located in the scenic city of Dehradun. Centrally located, the campus is a 5 minute drive from ISBT, Dehradun, 20 minute drive from the Railway Station and 1 Hour away from the Dehradun Airport. The campus is bordered by Rajaji National Park one one side and by the Clementown Cantonment on the other. The campus houses Hostels as well as different facilities for students ranging from a Radio Station to Sports Facilities."
Rakhi Ghanshala's Dance Video Controversy
Recently, a three-day college fest was organised at Dehradun's Graphics Era College. The event was graced by celebrities like DJ Chetas and rapper Badshah. As per the claims, during the college fest, Rakhi Ghanshala grooved at the stage. Being the college's President's wife, Rakhi Ghanshala Viral Video came under the scanner and many highlighted that the dance spreaded vulgarity. However, some users supported Rakhi Ghanshala citing freedom of choice.
Reacting to Rakhi Ghanshala's dance video, a user wrote, "She is the wife of a renowned college owner. This is how She was seen cheering for students at a college fest recently. These Dehra-based colleges will soon start renting their classrooms for Ullu TV shoots. Trust me — Pay us and shoot your REEL."
