 Apple CEO Tim Cook is all set to celebrate his birthday and turn 64 this year. Ahead of his birthday, speculations are emerging of who can be the next CEO of the famous tech giant. There are chances that former Apple Vice President Sabih Khan is the most likeable candidate to replace Tim Cook in the coming year. However, there is no official announcement of from the headquarters of Apple about Tim Cook leaving the company and candidates who can replace him. As per a recent Bloomberg report, the candidate most likely to take post of Tim Cook is Sabih Khan.

Who is Sabih Khan?

Sabih Khan is an Indian-American Business Executive. On 27th June 2019 Apple announced Sabih Khan as the senior Vice President of operations in Apple. Sabih Khan had been a long-time executive in the tech giant. Sabih Khan has been with Apple since the 90s and is a known face behind all product launches over various decades. Sabih Khan has worked with Apple for the last 24 years and is known to be one of the most loyal and hardworking employees. After he became the senior Vice President of Operations at Apple, Sabih Khan was responsible for looking after ‘Apple’s global supply chain.” He was responsible for ensuring quality products and overseeing planning, manufacturing, logistics, and procurement. 

Sabih Khan’s Background

Sabih Khan was born to a family in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. When he was in 5th grade, Sabih Khan’s family decided to move to Singapore. There he graduated in economics and mechanical engineering from Tufts University. Sabih Khan attained master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Later, Sabih Khan worked for GE Plastics, where he was hired as the applications development engineer and key account technical leader.
