Sharanya Iyer took to her Instagram handle, where she shared a reel with her fans in which she in detail breaks down her expenses of Rs. 50 lakh in the past year. Half of her expenses were spent travelling only. The influencer revealed that she spent around Rs. 5 Lakhs in total for her flight bookings in 2024.
In the reel she shared with her fans, she said that during the last year she has travelled to various destinations and also shared the amount she has spent on the trips. On her trip to Greenland, she has spent Rs. 3 Lakhs; she has spent Rs. 25 Lakhs for her three trips to Iceland; on her combined trip to Thailand and Laos, she has spent Rs. 1 Lakh; Rs. 1.5 Lakhs for a trip to Madeira; and has spent a huge amount of Rs. 8 Lakhs for a family trip to South Africa. Sharanya Iyer has spent Rs. 60,000 on a ‘European Summer.’ She revealed that she had won an amount of Rs. 40,000 at the casino during this trip, which reduced the overall cost of the trip.
Besides her travel expenses, she revealed that she has also bought a Hyundai car worth Rs. 22 lakhs. She also mentioned her medical expenses of Rs. 5 lakhs not covered by insurance. In the caption she wrote that the expenses mentioned in her reel do not cover her daily spending and material purchases. Sharanya Iyer mentioned that she is an obsessive money saver, but her dad and friends encouraged her to shift her approach in the past year. This change brought her joy and a sense of security.
