The countdown for the Miss Universe 2023 has begun and the world's attention has now started to shift to the biggest modeling competition of the year. Miss Universe 2023 will be taking place in San Salvador, the capital of El Salvador, at the José Adolfo Pineda Arena on November 18, 2023. Who is Shweta Sharda?
Hailing from Chandigarh, Shweta Sharda will be representing India at the Miss Universe 2023. Born on May 24, 2000, Shweta Sharda is also a dancer, choreographer, and beauty pageant holder. At the age of 16, Shweta shifted to Mumbai to pursue her dreams of becoming a professional dancer. She pursued her undergraduate studies at the Indira Gandhi National Open University.
After moving to Mumbai, Shweta participated in several dance-reality shows and made a name for herself. She participated in Dance India Dance Season 6, the maiden season of Dance Deewane, and Dance Plus 6. Not only this, Shweta Sharda also worked as a choreographer in Jhalak Dikhla Jaa Season 10.
Notably, Shweta has also shared screen space with popular actor, and dancer Shantanu Maheshwari in the music video Mast Aankhein. Shweta's dream to represent India at Miss Universe 2023 became true when in August 2023 she was confirmed as one of the 16 official contestants for the Miss Diva 2023 competition. In the competition, Shweta won- Miss Body Beautiful, Miss Talented, Top 5 – Miss Photogenic, and Top 6 – Miss Rampwalk.
