On 17th November, Denmark's Victoria Kjaer Theilvig got crowned as the 73rd Miss Universe. She is the first Danish women to get crowned as the Miss Universe.
This beauty pageant took place at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City. It had a total of 125 contestants, surpassing the previous record of 94 contestants set in 2018. The top 5 finalists at the beauty pageant included Thailand's Opal Suchata Chuangsri and Venezuela's Ileana Marquez.

Victoria’s win has marked Denmark's first win in the pageant's history, and also their second win in any of the Big Four international beauty pageants, following the win of Catharina Svensson in Miss Earth 2001.
