Asad was captured on CCTV shooting at Umesh Pal, which prompted the UP government to initiate strict action against him. The 3rd of five brothers, Asad took over his father’s gang after his two elder brothers surrendered to the police.

Apparently, he was supposed to be in a supervisory role as his shooters took Umesh Pal out. Asad got involved when he saw Umesh Pal attempting to escape after the initial shots were fired. He managed to chase him down and shoot him, getting captured on video in the process.
