Born in Tasoluk village of Goksun district in Kahramanmaras Province, the Paris Games 2024 was Yusuf Dikec's fifth consecutive Olympics for the Turkish shooter. Yusuf Dikec, 51, did not win any Olympic medal in the last four he participated in for Turkey. However, Yusuf made a strong comeback in the Paris Olympics and won a silver medal in a mixed-team event. Before, the Paris Olympics, Yusuf was quoted saying, "This is my fifth consecutive Olympics, and I’m confident we will secure a medal."
Talking about why Yusuf Dikec is being compared to a Turkish hitman, the 51-year-old shooter wore regular prescription glasses and earplugs and was still able to defeat most of the competition. Yusuf Dikec's Paris Olympics photo is going viral on social media. In the viral pic, Yusuf Dikec was seen keeping his one hand in his pocket, aiming his pistol down sight, and nailing his shots.
Yusuf Dikec did not use any special equipment required to be used by the shooters at the Olympics & other events.
