On Tuesday, 26th November, South superstar Nagarjuna’s younger son announced his engagement with his fiancé Zainab Ravdjee.
Actor Akhil Akkineni has shared a post announcing his engagement on Instagram. He wrote, “Found my forever. Happy to announce that Zainab Ravdjee and I are happily engaged.”
Nagarjuna has also expressed his joy and congratulated the couple. He said, “As a father, it brings me immense joy to see Akhil take this significant step in his life with Zainab, someone who complements him beautifully. Zainab’s grace, warmth, and artistic spirit have truly made her a wonderful addition to our family. We are overjoyed and look forward to celebrating this new journey with both families.”
Akhil Akkineni is an Indian actor who majorly works in Telugu cinema. He was born in San Jose, California, United States, and was raised in Hyderabad, India.
Previously, in 2016, Akhil had got engaged to Shriya Bhupal, grand-daughter of the business tycoon, G. V. Krishna Reddy. Their wedding was also planned in 2017, however, it was later cancelled, for unknown reasons. Akhil and Zainab had met a year ago, following which, they came into a relationship.
Who is Zainab Ravdjee?
Zainab Ravdjee is the 39-year-old daughter of industrialist Zulfi Ravdjee. Her father is in the construction industry, and her brother Zain Ravdjee serves as the Chairman and Managing Director of ZR Renewable Energy Pvt Ltd.
Zulfi Ravdjee is also a close associate of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Nagarjuna. Zulfi has served as an advisor to Jagan and represents the AP Government in Middle Eastern countries as well.
Zainab is a Hyderabad-born artist known for her vibrant and abstract paintings. Her work has been featured in multiple exhibitions including the notable ‘Reflections’ held in Hyderabad. She has lived in India, Dubai and London.
Zainab had shared about the exhibition and said, “It’s called Reflections for the same reason; I am looking back at the shows I did in the past and putting it together for this show. Which is why you will find that the paintings stem from different inspirations,” she said.
