Kush Shah is famous for playing Goli in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah. The makers of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah shared a video on YouTube in which Kush Shah looked back to his long journey and association with India's popular TV serial. Showrunner Asit Modi complimented Kush, pointing out that he has been a mainstay of Gokuldham society since he was a little boy when he was spotted cutting a cake with the actors of TMKOC. Kush after that shed a tearful expression and pledged to make everyone proud. Introducing the new Goli and reminiscing on his 16-year journey as ‘very beautiful,’ he remarked. As per reports, a few months back, one Facebook user, who seems to be a Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fan, shared a picture with Kush Shah in New York. The user claimed that Kush told him that he had quit TMKOC to pursue further studies in New York. "Out of nowhere, I found Kush Shah aka Goli in New York, while on my way to the Statue of Liberty. He told me that he has left the show and is pursuing his studies in New York,” the user wrote on social media.
At first, no one believed that Kush Shah had quit Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah but now it seems the user's claims were actually true.
In the farewell video, Kush Shah can be heard saying, "When this show started when you and I first met, I was very young. You have given me a lot of love since then. And this family has given me as much love as you have given me. I have made a lot of memories here. I have enjoyed a lot here."
