Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha on June 23, 2024, married her long-time boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal in the presence of close family and friends. Sonakshi Sinha's wedding was a close affair but the couple threw a lavish reception party in Mumbai where they danced their heart out. Many celebrities and Bollywood actors close to Sonakshi and Zaheer attended the wedding as well as reception. But, what was attention-grabbing was the absence of Sonakshi's brother Luv Sinha. While veteran actor & TMC leader Shatrughan Sinha attended his daughter's wedding, the actress' brother Luv decided not to visit her sister's marriage ceremony. Now, Luv Sinha has admitted that he deliberately skipped Sonakshi Sinha's wedding and also revealed the reason. Now, the question why Luv Sinha did not attend Sonakshi Sinha's wedding.
Luv Sinha took to his X handle and wrote, "The reasons are very clear as to why I didn’t attend, and would not associate with some people no matter what. I’m glad a member of the media did their research instead of relying on creative stories being put out by a PR team." Luv also shared an article with the caption, "Why I chose not to attend. Running an online campaign against me on a false premise won’t change the fact that for me my family will always come first."
Notably, the article pointed out Zaheer Iqbal's father's Iqbal Ratansi stint in Dubai and his proximity to a politician. A paragraph in the report reads, "Apparently, one reason for anxiety was a rumour about the groom’s antecedents. With carefully curated news stories about his family business, nobody tread grey areas like the groom’s father’s proximity to a politician whose ED enquiries had vanished in the “washing machine”. Nor was there a whiff of the groom’s father’s stint in Dubai, which was rumoured to have ended rather abruptly. Was there the hand of a superstar who had connections at the highest level in the UAE?"
Notably, after Luv Sinha's confirmation went viral on X, he fired another tweet. In his latest tweet, Luv wrote, "The quote that is being incorrectly attributed to me is not my statement, and was written in an article by a senior journalist . The matter is now closed, and I will not be commenting on it any further."
