India is all set to witness the 'Big Fat Wedding' of the year with Anant Ambani all set to marry his fiance Radhika Merchant. Radhika Merchant is the daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant, while Anant Ambani is the youngest son of Mukesh & Nita Ambani. Anant Ambani & Radhika Merchant will take their wedding vows on July 12 in Mumbai. However, pre-wedding festivities will take place in Jamnagar in Gujarat from March 1 to March 3 where many global guests are expected. While the world is talking about the groom's passion project Vantara, Anant Ambani recently opened up about his love story with Radhika Merchant.
While talking to a news portal by giving a tour to his passion project Vantara, Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant's love story was discussed for the first time ever. The youngest heir of the Reliance industry described his ideal date with Radhika in Jamnagar. Anant grew up in Jamnagar and his love for animals made him launch a rescue and rehabilitation centre - Vantara - at Reliance’s Jamnagar Refinery Complex. During his interview, Anant Confessed that he feels happy that Radhika loves the place more than him. "She is more happy in Jamnagar than anywhere else. She loves it here, even more than I do," Anant said.
Thereafter, Anant revealed that his perfect with Radhika would be walking in Vantara, boating in the pond while elephants continue to enjoy the water as well. Sharing his love story, Anant also termed Radhika a dream girl. Anant stated that when he and Radhika first met they got connected by their common love for animals and nature. Anant pointed out that Radhika is his dream girl and she has backed him in every aspect of his life. "I am lucky (to have her) for sure. She is the person of my dreams. Since childhood, I had thought that I would never get married because I was always devoted to taking care of animals. But when I met Radhika, I saw her sharing the same values as me. She has this sense of giving and nurturing towards animals," said Anant.
"Beyond that, Radhika has stood like a strong pillar of support during my difficult times, as I battled with health issues. Even my parents never made me feel like I was ill. Even when doctors gave up on certain things, they never did. Additionally, Radhika gave me strength...They (Ambani family) always told me to not give up and keep fighting, especially for someone who has battled health issues since childhood. There are many people in more pain than me, hence I am grateful to God for everything. I have never paid attention to anything anyone says. It’s their job to gossip, but for me, my family and their support is of the utmost importance," added Anant Ambani.
